The Internet Isn’t Real
And Nothing Is Symmetrical
Well guys, we had a good run.
AI wants to take our jobs but who will be left to sell to. This is called the eradication of humankind. This is the extinction of our humanity. Imagine an earth powered by AI and nothing left.
I would like to invite you to be a real person.
AI is the hyperfixation of not only techies, but influencers. Spiritualists believe it to be a cosmic self-reflection. Replacing connection and coherence with echos of our own righteous thoughts surely will make us feel less alone.
Intellectuals hypothesize AI as our unconscious collective; a false hive mind that sources all knowledge. Corporate executives believe AI to be a genie who grants all wishes and operates their businesses thinking they’re conjure a strategic master plan when in actuality it’s a glorified word bank. Relying on fabricated intelligence to replicate the creative thought of a human is a new all-time low. Where has critical thought, comprehension and literacy gone?

The feed has cost us our individuality. We’ve all morphed into some kind of faux-human cyborg, trying to appease algorithms and trends. Hoping to be likable, we forget that expression is the point of living. We forget there is wisdom in our own experience of this world. Vibrancy comes from the contributions of many. A musical, full-belly life is not a one-size-fits-all mentality.
There’s been a shift in personal connection. And a shift in online affairs. When our egos explode and the internet falls into a monetization graveyard, then we’ll come back to our senses. The loss of any meaningful relationship is a rejection of the unfiltered self. Nature doesn’t abide by any order or human perception. It just is. A copy and paste society is cancerous and unimaginative. Creative expression thrives on authenticity, not algorithm overlords. I warn you now - not to abandon the soil for virtual thrills because nothing will endure without our actual touch.
Realizing my purpose is in sustaining the dialogue with the land and people allows me to be a little more human (a little more myself). To pause. To think. Be a little off-key. Off-center.
The social media ego trip has trained us to be a persona instead of a person. We’re concepts. Stereotypes. Brands. If we’re looking for answers online, then we’re not asking within. We’ve condeluted our intuition with online expert advice.
Everyone is a guru of something convincing you they have all the answers. They believe they want glory and prestige when what they really need is connection and community. When we’re not curious about another and only speak on ourselves we lose the feeling of compassion. We don’t need your expertise, we need your humanity.
There are real world problems. There’s rage bait, third limbs and deep fakes ravaging the web. Yes, it’s all so entertaining, a frenzy of suppressed emotion taken out on fake arguments that don’t resolve anything and waste all our time. In this overstimulated and overworked world, our bodies and minds remain dysregulated. Trying to recreate the same deja vú we were born into.
And it has come to this: taking the risk to live like our desires matter. Unplugging from the matrix that’s been trolling us. It’s all smoke and mirrors, right? And where are the reservoirs of our humanity? The burning fires in our cities have revealed the weak foundations of our character. We must find what we’re fighting with before we choose to remodel society.
The more we converse. The more we gather. The more power we take back in leading a real future that’s meaningful and in tone with the actual oxygen we breathe.
Let’s take this conversation off-line.
For the best,
Melody
