The Body is a Tuning Fork

Being Of Nature

On the Feel Good, Liver Better podcast with Dr. Chatterjee, fascia expert, Jason Van Blerk reminds us, “The body is a tuning fork. All my cells are changing shape to that frequency…and if we look at water and sand react to the world, then we understand the human body…when I listen to exciting music..I feel excited..and it changes the way we feel.”

Blerk describes something so obvious and profound, that our bones are as sand and fascia, that connective gel-like tissue inside us is as the element of water that reacts the same inside our bodies as it does outside our bodies in the world.

It makes perfect sense to me. Our bodies are made of the world. Sand. Water. Microbes. Our bodies determine our mindset and our minds determine our body’s wellness. There’s a connection there.

Our expression is vital to our health. There’s spirit that animates us must be felt and released to uncoil any tension that restricts us from fully breathing.

To truly express ourselves. To know ourselves. This is the art of the soul. And the soul has the body as a generator of creativity. In this relationship, the masculine and feminine qualities of us unite to synchronize with the entire earth and heavens.

This connection, this frequency that beholds life in its palm threads every part of us. Reflects us. Moves us. Imagines us. Becomes us. We dance.

Blerk began the conversation by stating that there are no straight lines in nature and so I will dance up the hill and catch the ocean sunrise again and again.
