A Universal Language
Is a Relational Language
The voice of Lakota Elder, Tiokasin Ghosthorse has reminded my being of all the sacred knowledge that lies within relational language.
This language animates. This language enchants. This language unifies us as people and land.

Relational language is of awe and innocence. Relational language gives us ability to apply consciousness (Mystery) to everything. We use objective language to control, but to speak relationally surrenders us to Mystery becoming in touch with our land, people and present. This perspective allows acknowledgement of consciousness in everything.

When we know this, we belong with which we were born from: in part land and in part mystery. We are children of a masculine (creation or land) and feminine (spirit or consciousness) polarity. Therefore, our responsibility lies in stewardship of our land and people.
The need to rationalize has lead us away from our intuitive wisdom. Our ancestors not only pertain to our human lineage, but to our jungles and monsoons and raptors. There’s wisdom of land as there is wisdom in universality. When we are born, we observe and drink from earth so we become earth. We truly learn by experience, not lectures. Children who listen and watch to their habitat before they act is a way of relational intelligence. This is almost ceremonial. This kind of intelligence expands our conscience (morality) and consciousness (awareness).
We’ve been told love is shown more than conveyed in words. This is true. Nature doesn’t speak love, but gives love by existing and through generous exchange.

We Need To Get It Together
“I” or “The” reduces and separates us from our true reality. We isolate ourselves just by the way we think. Ownership is isolating. Land settlement is isolating. Control is isolating. Tyranny is isolating. Ego disregards our living womb in order to possess another orb in the sky, forgetting Earth’s regenerative (reincarnate) powers.

Why Relational (Conscious) Language?
Keeps us unified as a people and as stewards of the land.
Keeps us driven by community not ego.
Doesn’t objectify nature, but relates in a way that creates a thriving ecosystem for all.
Relational language is a living language that evolves with the current society and present consciousness.
This relational language creates communal responsibility versus oligarchies creating a culture belonging over domination.
A universal language must be of the anima (the soul). Language that is inclusive of all things must be how we re-connect ourselves to another and this precious land.
